At PHM, our roles and reasons for being here are many. We’ve asked people to answer a few questions, letting us know a few of the things that make them unique, what they like best about PHM and of course, why they’ve chosen health.
What is the best thing about working at PHM?
I’m going to try to avoid the cliché of saying “the people,” although that is very true. One thing I consistently mention to people interested in working at PHM, is that there’s rarely a problem or challenge that is new to us. There’s likely someone on another team that has dealt with the same issue and already created a solution for it. There’s always an opportunity to forge your own path, but a lot of what we do is building on the work of those who came before and I think that’s something underrated that makes the work of PHM so strong.
Have you ever been a PHM Twin?
Not sure if this the best place to reveal it, but I was the one who started the Instagram account @PHMTwins. I kept saying to myself that someone should start it because it happens all the time, and finally one day I decided to be that person! I had a few pictures saved up from before the account got started to get us kicked off, many of which included myself. So yes, I have been a PHM Twin and I only have myself to blame!
If you could do a guest role on a TV show, which one would it be and why?
I’m not sure if it counts as a role, but I would love to be a contestant on Jeopardy! I love trivia and watched Jeopardy for years when I was growing up. Now I stream it on Netflix and make mock Jeopardy games for my team at PHM to help hone our knowledge in a fun way. I’d be incredibly nervous, but I like to think I could do pretty well.
What is your favorite app that not many other people have on their phones?
UDisc – It’s an app that focuses on disc golf. I can use it to find new courses, track my scoring, measure my shots and track live scoring from the professional tour (yes, that is a thing!). I started playing more seriously in the summer of 2020, and haven’t stopped since. Apart from Spotify and Instagram, it might be my most used app.
Why did you choose health?
Because it is universal, health affects everyone. We’re all in the market for good health, whether for ourselves or our loved ones.
