PHMLove and The Trevor Project are partnering to help close the gap in public knowledge about the myriad factors that increase an LGBTQ young person’s risk of suicide, as well as demonstrate the urgency of more technological solutions for suicide prevention. With our premier media partner, Group Nine (POPSUGAR, Now This), the partnership has the ability to impact millions of young people across their platforms. Aligning The Trevor Project’s deep knowledge of this issue with PHM’s expertise in media and Group Nine’s reach, this partnership will increase awareness and generate critical resources to address this crisis impacting diverse and underserved LGBTQ youth communities.

The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Questioning) young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, and text. We also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.
