    Team Spotlight: Media Tech

    At PHM, we are continually re-imagining media for health and wellness everyday—but how does that play out in the day to day lives of our employees?

    To answer this question, PHM presents the Team Spotlight, highlighting a different team each month and detailing not only the work they do, but how they make PHM a great place to work.

    This month: Media Tech, through the lens of Angeline DeSantis, Analyst, Media Technology

    I joined PHM during the height of the pandemic, so my early days were unusual. A friend of mine worked at PHM and was always telling me how happy they were, and how much of an impact enjoying their work had on their lives. They asked me time and time again if I’d like them to refer me for a position, and after hearing how much PHM values and supports their employees, I decided to take the leap and apply.

    Entangled in a mix of CDC notifications about record breaking hospitalizations, COVID transmission rates and plenty of invitations to read about the new COVID Vaccinations – came an email from a recruiter at PHM, extending an offer to me!  I was elated to say the least. I was so excited to begin a career in media. However, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous about joining a workforce that was completely brand new to me.

    My first official day at PHM was in May of 2021. I met so many new people, across many departments. This is also the day that I met my team – Media Tech! Everyone on the Media Tech team was so good at explaining how to do the work that most of the time I would forget that we weren’t talking face-to-face (that’s how hands-on everyone made the trainings feel)!

    As a Media Tech Analyst, I play a huge role in the tactical operations that ensure our media plans run effectively. I spend most of my time behind the scenes of our campaigns, creating and updating ads. Another core responsibility of my role is monitoring and communicating the progress of our digital and display campaigns, so I devote a lot of time to creating and analyzing a wide range of reports focusing on performance. Essentially, I make sure that every ad we create is being seen. I work very closely with Media Planners, our Programmatic Team and more.  

    I believe that it was my destiny to have a career at PHM. I’ve met so many amazing people and have learned more than I could’ve ever imagined. I’ve never felt so supported in my career goals and the leadership at PHM truly want the best for their employees. I especially love that I’m part of a workforce that cares so deeply about the public. Before my career at PHM, I never truly understood how helpful media and advertising could be. Being able to connect people to amazing healthcare solutions (super conveniently), is something that is beyond impactful!
