Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence, Data Operations will clean, classify, and QA many media data sources at the disposal of the BI team to integrate all of them in multiple BI platforms while documenting these integrations and assisting the client on media data operation questions on how to query, visualize and automate further processes.

You will gather media data requirements for supporting data products with internal and external clients. We ask that you have dual knowledge of both data engineering and a knowledge of media data as you will help advance our current warehouse solutions (built on the Datorama and Snowflake technology stacks), classifying real-time data for our clients and ensuring that the data has flowed through our warehouse solutions correctly for downstream user ingestion. This involves a data quality assessment and correction process that you will manage.

You will report to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill data requests made by the external client.
  • Align data internal BI partners to make sure the data is available and visualized based on the measurement strategy outlined.
  • Maintain professional relationships with the members of your client team(s)
  • Work with internal and external partners to deliver data operations that satisfy all client data needs and address challenges and opportunities with clearly defined goals and definitions of data integration/reporting success.
  • Manage and work on both internal and external client workstreams that culminate in the delivery of data. This includes ensuring the data flows are correct and QA'ing the data before it is ingested.
  • Help maintain the many internal data sources (including an expertise in Datorama) and (where applicable) third-party vendors/data streams that comprise our custom measurement platform while keeping work streams on task within the established timelines and delivery dates.
  • Oversee and implement data integrity processes.
  • Manage multiple client engagements/projects concurrently while addressing varied needs of a diverse client pool.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably a BS in a related field)
  • 1-2years Media Data Experience required
  • 4 years of work experience in data/analytics consulting or quantitative marketing/analysis
  • Depth of understanding of basic coding languages (Python, SQL, Py spark)
  • Experience with business intelligence software such as Datorama, media data and financials (PRISMA, Ad Servers) and cloud base services such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure
