Why I Choose Health: Improving Patient Lives

At PHM, our roles and reasons for being here are many. We’ve asked people to answer a few questions, letting us know a few of the things that make them unique, what they like best about PHM and of course, why they’ve chosen health.

What is the best thing about working at PHM?

It may be cliché, but it’s definitely the people (major shout out to the Paid Search team)! I feel so grateful to work with such a smart, dedicated, caring, collaborative and fun group. I learn so much from them, professionally and personally—each and every day.

When in the office, what inspires you most?

Recently it’s been great to have some live brainstorming sessions in the office! While virtual connectivity is working well, it has been exciting to connect in person and more seamlessly bounce ideas and thoughts off each other.

If you could do a guest role on a TV show, which one would it be and why?

I’m shamelessly a big reality TV fan and would probably pick Below Deck! I love seeing the extravagant vacations and places the show is set in and the behind the scenes view of yachting. While I would like to experience what it would be like to be a crew member, I would settle to be a one of the charter guests :).

What is your favorite app that not many other people have on their phones?

I have a yoga app that I love! It gives me access to not just yoga classes but also meditation practices and daily inspirational quotes.

Why did you choose health? 

I have always had an interest in learning more about the healthcare industry given that health and wellness are such crucial parts of my everyday life. I chose health so I can play a role in connecting people to the resources they need and support others in their healthcare journeys. Seeing patients connected to solutions to improve their lives is so rewarding and it is moving to hear these real-life patient stories from our clients.
