Late last month, a team including two Publicis Health Media employees, Erin Macri and DeVaun Brown, won first place at the annual 4As Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies graduation ceremony. The 4As Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies is a 12-week program during which junior-level top performers collaborate with peers from other agencies to develop marketing plans for real clients.
Erin and DeVaun’s team, Roots, was assigned to Herr’s Food Inc. with the goal of driving brand loyalty and increased sales with the millennial and younger snacker. Their “Forever Good” campaign featured fun “90s throwback” creative borne out of the idea that “millennials live for the now, but the past is what they crave.”
As representatives of PHM, Erin and DeVaun leveraged their media expertise to create a multi-channel media plan (display, video, audio, search, out-of-home, and social) to target millennials who had intent to purchase Herr’s snacks. Within that plan, they provided a strategic programmatic recommendation to support Herr’s e-commerce efforts and increase sales among millennial consumers.
As the winning team, these participants also won the 2019 IAAS WM. E. Surgner Excellence Award.
