Job Summary

Th The Media Technology Associate Director is responsible for keeping up-to-date with and evaluating new technologies while using them to create and shape media implementation and optimization strategies. The focus is to use technology to enable media that reaches the right audience with the right message at the right place. The Technology Associate Director is accountable for supervising the technology team with their personal career and client driven growth

Role Responsibilities

  • Establish best practices for brand in regards to researching, discussing and analyzing new technology
  • Implements rollout of new systems and processes
  • Accountable for completion of technology deliverables
  • Evaluate new technology and new vendors against current infrastructure or client needs
  • Lead and advise internal teams regarding advanced technology
  • Lead discussions and development of back end technology for campaigns
  • Contribute to POV for use across agency/clients
  • Generate client team specific recommendations regarding use of technology
  • Create opportunities to expose team talent, knowledge and expertise
  • Grow team expertise beyond general implementation
  • Foster environment of proactive sharing and peer advisement within team
  • Seen as strategic go-to by all capabilities
  • Responsible for Media Technology presence and participation in key internal client team meetings
  • Lead office Media Technology learning sessions
  • Visible leader of high-profile corporate initiatives
  • Sets expectations and demonstrates best practices for communication between technology and other agencies
  • Supervises Analysts, Sr. Analysts and/or Managers
  • Lead groups through presentations and consciously ensures there is a smooth flow throughout conversation
  • Confidence and authority in leading a team
  • Builds trusting relationships with client counterparts
  • Day to day point of contact for the assigned client
  • Ability to tailor presentation commentary on the fly to match audience comprehension
  • Manages client expectations realistically in technology operations related topics/deliverables

 

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-6+ years’ experience required

  • Proficient knowledge of various media technology programs

  • Advanced understanding of media financials and scopes

  • Deep understanding of the impact of financial compliance and risk mitigation

  • Basic knowledge of all media categories (Planning, SEO, SEM, Technology, etc.)

  • Proficient project management skills and time management skills

  • Ability to problem solve and provide alternative solutions

  • Advanced Excel skills (write macros, etc.)

  • Passion for innovative technology

  • Expert knowledge in advanced trafficking solutions
